Police hunt for man with mullet and face tattoos over alleged sex toy theft

Police in Australia are on the hunt for a heavily-tattooed, mullet-wearing man, who allegedly pulled off a sex toy theft, along with a string of other crimes.

The unidentified man, who has inkings all over his face and a flowing 80s-style haircut that is shaved on the top, is wanted for questioning by Queensland Police after allegedly stealing more than $500AUD ($349) worth of merchandise from a Surfer’s Paradise adult store.

He stands accused of asking a worker at an Oxenford sex shop to inspect three adult toys in a glass cabinet worth $480AUD ($334) on June 18, before promptly running off with a bundle of them, with CCTV catching him in the act.

The goodies he took included a $100AUD ($70) 'buddy wand' USB personal massager, a $130AUD ($90) Tryst 'multi-erogenous zone' massager and a pulse wave vibe priced at $250AUD ($174).

An image of the man wanted in connection with the sex shop robbery shows that the distinctive markings on his face and skull feature tattooed phrases including "Never take my soul" and "Death before dishonour".

Gold Coast cops have revealed the same man is wanted over a string of other crimes that started in mid-June, including the theft of a $125AUD ($87) Huawei Y3 phone and two sour gecko lollies from a Surfers Paradise convenience store.

On June 27, he allegedly stole met a woman in a car park in order to buy an iPhone from her for $700AUD ($488.50), only to leave without paying after she handed the device to him.

The nameless individual is also wanted for questioning over a number of car thefts over the last two weeks, this including a dark grey Mazda 3 hatchback and Audi Q5.

Police in Australia claim that no one has yet been charged over the string of offences. However, anyone who sees the man in question, or has information about his whereabouts, is urged to contact police.
