Rihanna got drunk with Seth Meyers, and the results are just hilarious
It's officially summer, which is the perfect excuse to do some day drinking. Actually, spring is a great excuse to do some day drinking too. Fall is also an excellent season to day drink. And you have to day drink in the winter, I mean, it's so cold. What? I don't have a problem. You have a problem!
Anyway, pop icon and Fenty beauty queen Rihanna appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers last night. However, she did not do a musical performance, or sit down in the studio for a chat. Instead, RiRi and SethSeth filmed a remote at a bar, where they both got extremely drunk. The results are hilarious.
After taking shots, chugging pints and swigging champagne straight out of the bottle, Seth presented Rihanna with themed cocktails based on her hit singles. The titles included Under My Rumbrella, Diamonds In The Rye and We Found Veuve In A Hostess Place. Bitch Better Have My Bunny is tequila inside a chocolate bunny, obviously.
The pair went on to give each other advice, play drinking games and do a sloppy Fenty beauty makeover. In one of the funniest moments, Seth said, "I want to blow my wife away with a romantic night out, what do I do?" "You just said it," Rihanna replies. "Blow your wife away." The two then burst into giggles, proving RiRi is the best drinking buddy.
In the segment, Rihanna didn't say anything about her long-awaited ninth studio album, the follow-up to 2016's Anti. However, she did provide an update during a conversation with Sarah Paulson for Interview magazine.
"It really does suck that [the album] can’t just come out, because I’m working on a really fun one right now," she said. "I’m really happy with a lot of the material we have so far, but I am not going to put it out until it’s complete. It makes no sense to rush it, but I want it out. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m like, 'Even if I don’t have the time to shoot videos, I’m going to put an album out.'"
Well, hopefully when it comes out, she'll go day drinking with Seth Meyers again!
