t.A.T.u. singer has a completely different look 17 years after hit
One of the most iconic (and controversial at the time) music videos of the early 2000s was the video for 'All the Things She Said' by the Russian girl duo t.A.T.u.
Featuring the two artists, Yulia Volkova and Lena Katina, in school uniforms having a sexual encounter together in the rain, the video provoked outrage in many parts of the world for depicting themes of underage lesbianism, and a number of organisations protested against the video.
Check out the iconic music video below:
In hindsight - and living in a more accepting modern climate - it's difficult to see what all the fuss was really about, as the outrage over the video appears to have been motivated by simple homophobia more than anything else.
However, despite the popularity of the song, the Slavic duo soon faded from the public's consciousness, and are not as well known these days as they once were.
However, recently Yulia Volkova has made a bit of a comeback on Instagram and regularly wows her 247,000 followers with her more mature look. Check out what Yulia looks like these days in the Instagram posts below:
It goes without saying that Volkova looks sensational, and could make a global comeback at any moment.
And just in case you were wondering what former bandmate Lena Katina looks like these days, check out some of her snaps below:
Man, videos like the one above really do seem quite tame nowadays, right? Especially compared to the debut music video of Danielle Bregoli, aka the "cash me outside" girl from that episode of Dr Phil.
