Ireland Baldwin posted a butt pic on Instagram and her dad Alec Baldwin hilariously responded
When your parents follow you on social media you have to be careful what you post. It doesn't matter how close you are, you can't just write anything any more. If they see anything embarrassing relating to you on their newsfeed, then you can guarantee that they'll soon let you know about it.
It seems as though even celebrities have got to be mindful of this sort of thing: particularly if they're from a famous family. Just think about how much trouble the Kardashians must get into since all of them are pretty damn visible on social media.
If you want an example, then just take a look at what happened to Alec Baldwin's daughter Ireland this week, after she posted an Instagram snap.
The Instagram picture in question saw Ireland take to the rooftops of New York City on a beautiful summer day. Wearing nothing but a thong and a towel on her hair, she posed for the camera and later uploaded the pic to her account.
The picture was captioned: "Thank you @sixtyhotels for the beautiful stay. I may never be allowed back but it’s chill. Also my butt isn’t that white. It’s the sun. No it’s also that white. [sic]"
However, the actor and SNL guest star Alec Baldwin commented on the picture "I'm sorry. What?" Her uncle, Billy Baldwin later chimed in "Tough one for old Uncle Billy to 'like' #awkward."
In a recent interview with Genlux, Ireland opened up about her childhood, stating: "My parents split up when I was 7 or 8. I was living in New York and my mom moved me back to LA. My dad stayed in New York. My parents had a long custody battle over me."
She added: "It was a bloody divorce. I don’t believe any child should have to speak to lawyers and deal with that. That took up a big chunk of my life. I was being dragged and torn in different directions. The entire situation took away my identity, and I did whatever would make whomever happy in the moment."
